The Creation of DWDB:

At Cape Cod Beer October 2016, POCCA was having a benefit.  Laura reached out to George who plays the keys to play in between when she is educating on how we all can protect Cape Cod water here.  The day of the benefit, #7 of our friends showed up saying they will donate their time to help by playing happy vibrations to celebrate our waters because without quality water, beer wouldn't be so good.  Laura asked George what they wanted to be announced as, he texted back  "The Dirty Water Dance Band"   and that was the beginning.  They have been together playing shows throughout the Cape ever since!

Everyone of people in DWDB already play in other local and Boston bands.  They are all friends who when together create the most unique 'happy' organic sounds, sometimes creating as they go along original uniqueness audiences are excited to experience. 

Turns out other talented musician friends are attracted to their ways so much there are now  #12 players in DWDB - even a horn section!   If you'd like to book them for an outdoor show/gig/wedding/party please indicate how many musicians you'd like to enjoy.  They play throughout the Cape and would play at farther venues to the Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard or Boston if funding allowed.  They are well worth the priceless feelings you'll experience for hours of enjoyable pleasure and memories are forever!  Remember to support those who are doing all they can to educate, to play, to dance FOR OUR WATER!
